Well Well Well...
It's the wonderful B-Day today...and no one will let me wear my suit all day...
tho on the other hand...its a damp dreary day...but I'm not frettin...why?...well Today is the first day of the Pontiac Excitement NHRA Nationals...and they're just the next exit down the highway...and a present from my friend/boss/landlord is a ticket!...so I'll be there NO MATTER WHAT!...gotta love that it's only 10 min away...hehe...get to see all the sportsman racers...Joe Blow clear up to Ashley Force!...Top Alcahol is gonna be AWSOME w/ Ashley Force and Hillary Will...hopefully I can get some autographs...wonder if I can play the "it's my B-Day" card... and on top of getting to see all the sportsman racing and strollin thru the pits...the Pro cars (Funny, Top Fuel, Pro-Stock) are gonna make 2 qualifying pass's...one in the afternoon and one at nite...I'm soo ready for 15ft header flames and 4 sec. passes!
also found out a few days ago that there is going to be an International Body Art Expo in town this weekend...so Sat and Sun...I'm there!...oh...and I went around to all the local shops that were listed to be there the same day...picked up some 8ga stuff for my septum...so I got a high nickle retainer...its like a dark charcoal gray...and also got a buffalo bone cresent...by by 10...hello 8!...gonna put the bone in for the first time today...but hell, I'm already wantin a 6ga...heh
and to think...I was going to head back to indiana this weekend to be w/ the family...soo much for that!...LoL...but I'll be back there starting next Friday and will stay thru sunday...chill at the house on friday...prolly hit the local drags on sat...then I'll be at the Indy 500 on sunday!...
speakin of the indy 500...I got a call from the parents about 2 days ago...found out a lady that my mother works w/ owns a shop that works on race cars...well...I was under the impression of chassis fabrication and some body paint work...no dice on the fab...he doesn't even assemble...but he paints million dollar cars...and needs help...any one from formula cars, cart, IRL, proto's, GT cars and the BMW classes...many others I'm sure...not exactly what I'm wanting to do...wanting to stay drag oriented...but a foot in the door is a foot in the door...a job is a job...and money is money...so I'll be visiting him before long...but after Indy...$10/hr...I'll end up movin in w/ my Sis that just so happens to be 5min from this guys shop...and next door to Indianapolis Raceway Park! (IRP) so next door to the drag strip!...guess I'm gonna have to get my gremlin together so I can drive it to work and race at the track!...heh...nuttin like a 12sec daily driver eh?...muhuhahahaha...
also I think I'm going to talk to my boss about getting in touch w/ his friend that is an 'in' for Larry Morgan's Pro-Stock team...I'll look into that and explore my options there as well...and today would be a good day to do that...seeing as how I'll already be at the Nats!...heh...
welp...I'm outta here...gonna kick back before we head to the nats!...
