yeah...don't say a whole lot in there...dunno too many that are interested in the ongoing saga that evolves out of my garage...but hey...guess we'll see...
as you can tell...I like 'heapish' type rides...hence the Gremlin as a profile pic and not one of myself...only pics that are around of me are typically ones of my back as they're all taken while I'm working on something...and all those are on film and not digital...see if I can dig one out and toss up for a prof. pic...(and tollerate my hatered of scanners for a few moments)
but...as for what I do day to day in personal life...I keep a picture progression of the work, additions, and changes of them (all car related directly to the work on the gremlin) here... AMC Forum - Gremlin Progress All has been body work since I have a limited cash flo...but the patches and panels are all made by hand and w/ no 'specialty' tools...just a ball peen hammer, a vise, and whatever I can find to beat the metal on (been a brake drum doing the rear)...lots of welding and grinding...and an odd site for me to not be able to see THRU the car any more...
as for a lil bit about me...I'm unemployed and have been since Nov. after pissing off a FemDom manager...I could go back and get a job there once again...but who in their right mind would give up $4.32/hr for sittin around on their ass all day...and having a daily driver that only gets 9MPG kinda makes it senseless...and seeing how monthly I'm only losing out on $150 after you figgure gas (to and from) and food at work...and seeing as how I'm moving at the end of June...even more pointless to persue a job serch...tho I do have an 'under the table' job in the works for the spring/summer till I leave at my favorite JunkYard...get some funding up for the following paragraph...
Well...I'm off to School at WyoTech just east of Pittsburg in Blairsville, Pa and will be moving out there at the end of June, register July 2nd, and start July 5th...be there tearin it up for 9 mos...and possibly more...just gotta go w/ the flo once there and see what comes of things after school...
Been getting E-mails, Private Messages, and Phone calls on stuff I have for sale and mechanic work that people are interested in...did some work for a guy in MI and came home w/ $280+ exhaust, a fuel cell, and a hood scoop...my dumb ass gave the scoop and exhaust away...and now I'm prolly gonna be needing the exhaust...hate to be an indian giver...but I'm starting to corner myself on needing it rather than tossin out $175 bones to run 3" like I had planned...sold the fuel cell and got a lil money...also sold some 15x4" Cragar S/S wheels w/ NEW tires on them (4 passes at the track) for 150 bones...not bad for getting those for FREE...
Tryin my damnedest to get some money rounded up to supliment 9mos of living while I got to school...thought about a part-time job but that just sounds like a headache and a hassle w/ going to school 4:30p-1:30a M-F...
have had this financial aid packet for about a month now...nerves are on edge about filling it out and sending it in (or doing on-line) but I 'spose I'll just grab a beer...log-on and fill the damn thing out...gotta get the ball rollin and find a place to lay my head over there in PA...
