Hello dudes and dudettes!
I went to go see Lacuna Coil last night! I got meet and greet passes for after the show, and it was loads of fun. The bassist remembers me from way back in the day when I was one of their photographers in Boston/New England and we used to hang out after the shows I shot. I couldn't believe it!
They actually begged to sign my X-men iPhone case because they all wanted to pick a character to sign. I let them, and Cristina signed Storm, my favorite, so I swooned.
Speaking of X-men, I finally was able to order my custom made latex X-men catsuit for my Pixie cosplay to wear at San Diego and Denver Comic Cons! I really hope it's not really going to take the 2 months I was quoted for it to be made. This is Pixie for those of you who don't know (she's a newer character, so don't worry if you don't :P ):
Also on the subject of comics, I took a picture of the current multiple series I am reading these days. I didn't realize how many I had until I did so.
I love being a nerd. I don't care what anyone says! :P
I'm also being a mega nerd on Wednesday and wearing my Ms Marvel cosplay out of the house for the first time to see the first showing of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
@trevor has to go to Denver for work for the next few days, which means I'll be spending pretty much all day without leaving the house or anyone but my pets around. Which means that I'm going to be playing the hell out of Marvel Heroes all weekend. I'm SidSuicide on there if anyone wants to team up with me. And don't worry, I'm willing to use one of my characters who are lower in level (my Storm is really up there) if any of you want to start playing right now to be my fighting buddy. My Lady Loki is still new to me, so I can do that... But yeah, the game is free to play, so come play with me. It's also on Steam.
