It'd be really great if the world stopped rewarding people who do things wrong, badly, and/or don't deserve it. We need to realize that bluntness is not mean, and the only way some people will stop getting their way or doing things wrong is to outright tell them.
There are too many delusional people out there who see or hear what they want to. I wish I had someone to admit to me that I couldn't do certain things so I didn't get set up for failure. I wouldn't think it's mean for someone to tell me how it really is, I'd be thankful, but then again I'm rational.
Having your head in the clouds and seeing everything as perfect and just how it's supposed to be can really make someone go crazy. Once you realize that there really is no luck or karma, and the world is how you make it, and there are so many things in life you can't control, things get so much easier and happier. It worked for me. Think positively, but expect the negative, and life is so much easier. 29 years of feeling like shit all the time when things failed taught me that.
Your life is how you make it out to be, and being condescending toward everyone, claiming you're not the one being childish and starting fights because someone says, "stop" or something you don't like is one way to make lots of enemies. You can bet that if someone acts like a jerk to someone I know who doesn't deserve it, I have no trouble telling them to cool it. I'm nice at first, but the second you call me "hun" or any term of endearment sarcastically, my fucking claws come out.
A lot of people are too immature to understand these things.
Crazy is as crazy does, and the crazies lump together, don't they?
If you don't like me or what I say, you can kiss my fucking ass and ignore me. That's how I do it.
I'm so tired of everyone becoming a spoiled brat because their parents gave them their way their whole lives. This creates an entire generation of the worst delusional assholes who do and say whatever they want. Realize that you're not a fucking special snowflake. Unless you do something amazing and helpful to the world, fucking accept you're not a superstar and slow your roll. Humble people are always the most liked. Not that how popular you are should even matter.
At the end of the day, I might be a blunt "asshole", but I can sleep at night knowing that the people who matter to me love me for who I am and my honesty.
If you don't agree with me, that's totally fine, but acting like an unintelligible jerk and being combative (or condescending) is not how you disagree with someone. I appreciate opinions opposite to mine, as well as debate, as long as it's respectful and thoughtful. Otherwise, don't bother because I won't bother with you.
I'm going to go read the issues of Marvel Now's X-men that I need to get caught up on since the comic shop by my house sucks at getting issues when they come out. Only hard copies for me. It's not the same, reading digital. I need the smell and feel of the pages.
