@trevor and I apparently accidentally became the poster children for the Bristol Brewery's pumpkin beer launch. It probably helps that we're good friends with the girl in charge of promotions, but we didn't expect this:
Confession: we are huge pumpkin beer hunters. We drink what we can and buy them all before anyone else can. (Not really, we're fair and on grab one box at a time, but we're those people who go nuts for it!) So far our favorites have been the Vennetucci Ale (named after the local farm the local brewery sources the pumpkins from) the beer we became poster children for, Elysian, Sam Adams, and Tommy Knocker. T likes the woodchuck cider, but I'm not a cider fan. Give me a stout beer, not a sweet beer... That's my thing.
We're getting ourselves ready for Halloween. T wasn't allowed to celebrate it growing up (seriously), so he's not super into it, but this year he's actually excited because of our costumes! Let's just say they're comic book related.
I'm still trying to figure out what to wear this weekend to the whole fiesta going on. In one day, there's a zombie crawl, which I'm watching instead of doing this year, an SGCO meet up, and the burlesque show. I need someone to totally pick out something cute. I fail in that department. All my clothes are Star Wars things or Marvel things. Pretty much all nerd related.
I'm actually having my makeup done by a lovely MAC professional, but that's nothing new because she does my makeup almost every time I go to Denver since I love her and miss her, so having her do my makeup is a way to see her. She was one of my bridesmaids in my wedding, so not some random person. :)
So, if you're coming to the Denver burlesque show this weekend, or even just want to hang out for a tad, we're gathering at The Paramount Cafe at 3:30 to watch zombies and drink before the show! We're fun people, so please join us!
Tits. Some old, some new, some sideways. Whatever.
