Saw the Avengers last night at the midnight IMAX showing. It was quite amazing! We got there 3 hours early and still had trouble finding 2 seats together. The theater was packed to the brim with nerds. 
I missed out on buying a replica Portal gun this morning. I'm so heartbroken over it.
I had plans for that thing. Grr! Apparently they sold out in under 30 minutes and there was only a couple of thousand made. I really was going to pay money that should go to my phone bill for it, and I'm still sad I missed it. Like I kind of want to cry over how bad I feel about missing it. It's exactly how I felt about last year's comic con tickets. The gun was supposed to be my birthday present. Now I don't know what to get.
Speaking of my birthday, I've given up celebrating it. It's just bad juju. The last time I tried to have a party, like no one came, so being the loser I am, I'm just done caring. All I want is to get myself something extravagant and useless (like a portal gun) and not deal with turning old or thinking about it being another year since my dad passed... Anyway, we're flying to Alaska right after it for a wedding, so it's not my day anymore...
Things have been kind of just stagnant and upsetting lately. I'm just trying to forge on with a smile on my face or whatever. Just trying to keep going. Life is one big *sigh* moment these days.
I really hate continually missing out on things I want.

Avengers was awesome. The Galaga bit cracked me up..as well as other stuff..which I won't mention in case I spoil something for someone else who may see this The end credit stuff was great too!
