@damian_stark I always support this foundation.  Not only because I've known Andrew since prior to me being a Suicide Girl (I worked as a photographer for him a lot and was on a small leg of a tour with him and Good Charlotte way back in the day when I was in college).  Last year, I spent my last $200 one month to donate to his charity and a bone marrow transplant charity because I can't donate my own marrow due to my illness.  I'd give anything to help save a life, including my last dollar because if there were a charity like this for my illness, I'd hope people would do the same for me and other EDS sufferers.  I know what it's like to be poor because of something you can't control and medications and hospital/ER/doctor's visits.  I also know how it is to continually be dealt bad news about your health.  I figure that if I can help someone somehow, I've done some good in this world, and if I am to leave any legacy behind, it's that I helped a stranger in some small way, even if they don't know my name or anything about me.

@solus I'm hoping you're saying that meaning the idiot stalker?  I seriously haven't shot a gun since I was last in Alaska, which was awhile ago.  I don't even own my own.  My husband is ex-army, though...  His father is the one who taught me how to shoot because he's an NRA instructor.  That's why I've shot such big guns.  I opted out of getting a conceal carry here in CO because I know I could never commit to shooting someone.  But I have other self defense items on my person.  Although, some day I'd like to get a little pistol or revolver just so I can go shooting at a range.  It's surprisingly cathartic.  And yes, I am for extensive background checks for guns.  I've never even gotten a parking ticket, so I think I'm fine.
