Lately, I've been thinking about cutting out my dreadlocks into a Carol Danvers-type mohawk. Like this:

But keeping it pink and platinum. It'll be easier on my head (my dreads are getting so heavy, that they literally rip the hair from my scalp, leaving sores on my head, even after cutting them down to less long and less heavy dreads, I think for the summer,

@sid hopefully last post went through.  It was acting weird.  But it shows on my side of the interwebs.

I like your thinking on both issues because you're basing it on how YOU feel both physically and mentally.  That's the bottom line. I do think the hair change gives you more comfort, plus flexibility for your cosplays  (wigs would seem easier to me when needed for some characters). As for the surgery, I've always supported women doing what they want. My opinion is your health is first priority, and your choice of how you want to look second, with everything else tied for distant last. I'm assuming you've checked into medical/dietary options to regain the lost weight; sorry about the issues you continue to battle with health. If you could get to a point of happiness with the breasts naturally, that's obviously best and less expensive. OBTW, I loved the way you looked in your last set. But I always love the way you look :-)

Wizard's First Rule - People are stupid.  I don't like people.  I like individuals.   --  But that's my take.  I'm glad you got out to see the movie.  I know it's hard but it's worth it to let yourself get out sometimes.  @sid , you are amazing.  you are strong.  you are loved.  Hang in there.  Life isn't always peaches and cream but sometimes you get a bite and it's ripe, juicy, and sweet and for that one brief moment it all makes sense.  (hugs) Love Ya!

@naulite Wow, your post just made me cry.  Not in a bad way, but remembering her and missing her. I wish she were still here, and I wish my health insurance wasn't still screwed up.  I just want some good luck for once.

@sid I wish I could wave my magic wand and make it all better.  Usually I just get yelled at to put it away a zip up my pants.  I totally agree, I wish she were here and happy and all that jazz.  So, sending you good thought and Merry wishes.  I feel you frustration with health insurance.  If health insurance companies didn't have the primary purpose to make money for their shareholders, I would say their purpose is to watch us suffer as much as possible before we die.  So I send you as much luck as I can My Dear Lady, not that mine have been very helpful to me.  But it's good to share.  Sorry to make you cry and not be there with a handy hanki for you.
