Odd, because mine was doing the same thing even after disconnecting and reconnecting. I asked in the forums and got the answer about character count so I started posting my IG posts with less characters at first, checking that it reposted here and then editing on Instagram to add all my tags.

I've never had the issue with there being too many characters, it just cuts off after a certain point on the title, and one would have to click the title to see the rest on instagram. I'm not sure if it's different for SGs or not.
