So today had a very turbulent start... After emptying the fridge and driving to Schiphol with my parents, it turned out our flight had been delayed for five hours. Eventually though, we got here, despite the obnoxious people sitting next to us, and here we are. We have done absolutely squat today bar getting to the hotel with our tour bus and having a drink on the terrace. Tapas at the hotel were served on bread which I found very weird and their local beer tasted a lot like Jupiler. Dinner was Ok but nothing to write home about; a tuna salad laid out on way too much lettuce, followed by a roast chicken leg with a very neutral taste. Dessert was a vanilla pudding that would make my fillings drop out of my mouth. All in all, we're not off to a great start. Tomorrow we'll visit Ronda, have a Sherry tasting, and eventually go to Sevilla. I'm picking the restaurant there and I have some good ideas. Will be back with more!
