choosing the right friends can be hard.. and it's a long process, usually. but you have to go with people who make you feel good about you, who make you smile just because they're there with you. people who will tell you all the wonderful things about you but still let you know when you're acting like a jerk. people who will always be honest with you because they have nothing to lose or gain from things. they're just there to be your friend and share some good times.

That is cool that you and you ex can talk and be friends in some capacity again. My ex knows that no matter what she can call me if she needs me...or just someone's shoulder to cry on.
