It's generally to do with self-confidence. Like, she feels she's too smart, too well-informed, to deserving to contemplate that she's being scammed. You aren't arguing with logic, in her eyes, you are just not seeing how amazing she really is. This is something you need to take her to a psychiatrist and sit in, if you can. And you may have to look at locking her out of finance until she is under control. I am not an expert, but you really should take her to one.

Thanks, @fredhincanada. I'm looking into all of what you noted. It's just hard that with the number of people telling her it's yet another scam, she just won't take us seriously.

Welcome again
Well, with my computer woes from last week, I got some good news. They were able to recover all the data. That was my biggest concern (data loss), so I'm very relieved. Now, though, they have to go in and do the diagnostics and try to fix the OS. Hopefully in a day or two I'll have it back!

@felicity I was scrambling for a couple hours... the place I would normally have taken it isn't taking service calls / drop-offs during the Quarantine. I was fortunate my 'backup' place WAS.... It will be nice to get it back... I'm using my 10 yr old iMac which is significant slower than my new one....

@suciasuicide Fortunately, I found a shop that was still doing repairs. It took them about a week, but most of that was data recovery (1TB...). I got the call a couple hours ago it is ready for pickup tomorrow! YEAH!!
To start the new week, I selected Fallen by EGOIST. If my memory is correct, this song was used in PSYCHO-PASS. EGOIST is also known for her work on the Guilty Crown (where, if you didn't know, she was a member of the Japanese voice cast for the show as well!).
