i am baking. this makes me very, very happy. yes, it's a bit late to be baking up a storm but i generally work ona different clock than other people. i LOVE baking!!♥ i'm not one for cooking but let me whip up something sweet and i'll be blissful. right now i am working on an apple loaf. it's the first loaf i've ever made but the recipe was so easy i think it'll be fine. i am quite liberal with measurements but i bet it will still taste fab. it smells SOOOOO good.
i'm in such a pleasant mood. i have some good incense burning and the loaf smells good and i fucking love fall and i think i should drink some tea and i just feel good about life. i have good friends, am close to my family, don't hate my job and it's my birthday in just over two weeks. i feel just radiant.
annnnd...must be the week for old man crushes. i saw a maclean's magazine with leonard cohen on the cover and wowza.
this is him when he was younger: right now he is 70 and i realize he is so, so, so old but he's god damn leonard cohen. so i don't care. i found his poetry in my jr. high library and i don't think i've been the same since.
ahhh maan. his poetry really set me down this path i'm on. i started reading his and e.e. cummings' works when i was 12 or 13 and let me say, that can change a girl's world-view a bit.
speaking of world-views, i am going to see george stromboulopoulos
speak at central library tomorrow. it is gonna be goood. he is another old-man crush i have, but not so old compared to leonard cohen and gregory peck.
note the devil horns. he obviously speaks my language.

Just too cold and whatnot. I personally like Spring and Summer. It's when I also tend to meet more people, and date more. During Fall and Winter, everyone always seems cold (no pun intended).

I'm sure it's enjoyable for a girl such as yourself
I dunno, I've just never liked the later seasons. Especially when they dump excess snow and make getting around really hard.
