the stuff that looks pink is not actually supposed to be pink--it's yellow but i was (and still am) a bit bloody. i thought it was going to hurt a lot more than it did. the words are from witch baby by francesca lia block, which is the second book in the series that weetzie got her name from.

i had the loveliest weekend, as evidenced by the pictures. thanksgiving was a smashing hit and today i'm making homemade chicken soup with the leftovers. hopefully it turns out edible, but everything i've been concocting lately has been.

last night i smoked my first cigar. it was interesting.

in one week i will be ending my trip to vancouver. i've never seen the ocean, and haven't rode a plane since i was 8. i'm a bit nervous because i don't know what to expect but i know it will all turn out fine.
