Oh, our Papillon wasn't anything like that, he was the perfect dog, loved children and cats, but he did yap a lot.

Back in TN. Going into work a few hours tomorrow, amazing how much you can get done when the idjits are away. This was a runners holiday for me, ran everyday, not used to the PA hills tho, you get to rest comin' down, but the next makes you pay.

Going to the a Local bistro for NY eve, called Lola's Cafe, the owner seems to have similar attributes to the Lola in the old Kinks song, walks like a woman, but talks like a man. Could be a cheap conversion, but she cuisinates well tho.

My mistake. We only get snow like this every 40 years. I resorted to my large garden shovel Monday. There was just too much of it. It worked great with the deep snow.

Yeah, I'm sort of glad I didn't have multiple obligations. As it is, the four of us who were going to get together agreed Saturday would be better. Enjoy the rest of your stay and be safe.

Glad you liked Jerome the Gnome. Actually, I can't take credit for him. I actually pirated him from the Travelocity web site LAST Christmas and figured I could recycle him this year. He's pretty cute.

Have fun in Seattle. It's pretty cold here in the Northwest and WET! That was always the amazing thing to me when I'd travel to Minneapolis during the winter. It could be 17 degrees and sunny outside and I wouldn't really be all that cold. But fly home to Portland where it would be 40 degrees, rainy and gray skies and it is just BONE chilling cold. Dress warm, my dear, and enjoy your trip. Remember, Seattle-ites may be more upbeat, but they can't drive in weather for shit! Patience, patience, patience.

Hey! I've been soooo exhausted and just, well, depressed lately (see my blog). I do still have your number and I want to talk to you about getting back into riding after an accident some time, preferrably a time when I'm not falling-asleep-tired or antisocial-depressed.
