I know this freaks people out, and I am sorry.
This was passed on to me this morning, and it was asked if I would post it. I thought this would be the best place.

WEIDENMOYER, DAVID ROY 44 (SocietysPliers)

Mr. Weidenmoyer passed from this life at his home on January 1, 2009. Mr. Weidenmoyer was of the Protestant faith and was a Dialysis Technician...

This is actually Fishii.

SocietysPliers gave me his password so I could change his profile picture for him... and I wasnt sure who else could or would do this.

Unfortunately SP was found in his room New Years day. Not much information on how this tragedy happened or about a memorial, but if I hear anything I will repost.

SP was a wonderful person....

I'm in shock. I only knew him for a short time, but he seemed such a nice guy. This is so sad.

Thank you for the link to the obit.

Great setlist there, per usual. I really like Powderfinger. It might be my favorite Young/Horse ditty. That got me thinking, have you ever done a re-creation of a historic concert before? You know, like do an entire Dead show, song for song? I was thinking, if I ever got into a band, I would love to do the whole Live Rust concert/album all the way through one time. Not sure I could afford the sets for that (or the Roadyes for that matter), but I think it would be cool. Robyn Hitchcock did the entire Dylan "Royal Albert Hall" concert one time. Complete with audience yells of Judas! It's great. Here's another question: you've heard the Traveling Wilbury's stuff, right. What do you think of it. I think it's great, taken for what it is. A good time. biggrin

I doubt this will help Jon, since the chances of someone from around here seeing it are slim since I can't get accepted into SGFL after 2 years because I'm tod my pics are too blurry. But a friend of mine needs a heart and kidney transplat and theres a poker run next month for him. He needs 5 grand. Here's the link to the...

Hey thanks for noticing that. Nope no secret, i'm a member of Last.fm. It's a really cool site, you hook up a plugin to your media player (it only works on Windows Media Player and Itunes, for now, I think) and it keeps track of your listening habits. There's all sorts of cool table designs you can choose from. It's basically the site for music geeks. It's free, but they also offer a pay-service thing that it somewhat cooler. Check it out. smile

When I was just a little young boy
Papa said, "Son, you'll never get far.
I'll tell you the reason
If you wanna know:
'Cause, Child of Mine,
There isn't really very far to go."

Beatles: "I don't care too much for money, 'cause money can't buy me Love."

Beatles: "Just give me money; that's what I want."

Hmmm whatever

More songs I just learned for the jailhouse gig:

Another Man Done Gone (traditional Alabama Chain Gang Song sometimes performed by Hot Tuna)
99 Year Blues -->
Prison Bound Blues
Workin' on a Chain Gang

Fuck, I was just trying to correct a error in someone's post about Another Man Done Gone and friggin' IE encountered an error and closed. Gotta run some antispyware stuff...

Of course I read the comments! The trick is trying to find time to answer them. And I do feel loved. Amazingly so! But the reason I asked if you were mad at me is because I hadn't seen a comment from you in a couple days and even when it gets up to like 3 pages of them, I still miss certain folks. Like you! kiss And I saw your comment yesterday, too, but when I am at my weekend job, it is a lot harder to sneak in SG comments.

I did have a nice time. We started out going out to dinner, but ended up ordering Chinese and staying in once we found out the wait was going to be an hour!!! eeek

It was nice, but I am already home this morning.....I just wish once he would want to spend a day doing nothing with me....just normal Saturday (or Sunday) errands, hanging out, etc....sorry, just being whiny now!!!

How was your night?

the media of yesterday would only tell you what the fuck happened. the media of today would have played up his depression and prescription drug use. i wonder what would be better for such a hero. but, as rancid sang of joe strummer, he is indestructible and eternal as a musician.

i say this as hank sr. sings "ramblin man" as luke the drifter on my ipod shuffle.
