Very curious goings-on. I have just been more or less offered my first feature to direct. And it has backing and I would be paid and everything. I just got a pretty hefty software contract, so the movie would have to wait until May. Which is fine, because it takes at least that long for the lawyer to do the legal stuff, form the company, etc,. get contracts in order and all the rest, before we can even go into pre-prod.
I will write more about the details as they come. I still have not completely signed on to this thing, as there are some interesting issues with it, not the least of which is the fact that much of it takes place in 1962 NYC. That adds a whole level of complication, in that everything on the street must be made to look like 1962. And on a very low budget, this becomes a challenge to say the least.

Excellent news. Congrats and good luck. That kind of period piece should be an interesting challenge. Can't wait to hear more about it.

Well, try and make it if you can on Saturday. But if not, I think this will be a weekly thing, so whenever. But it should be good, just hanging out, drinking and playing pool. Very low key.
