partially thanks to the just-finished weekend and the fact that i had been awake for 24 hours once again i had a strange slip in time when i realized i had absolutely no idea what day it was, and barely a clue as to what time. this situation was rectified by a five-hour nap. i have but one final left, and the book, which still needs to be lettered (and before that, brainstormed) but my brain is useless tonight. that means it's time for prison break and chips, and then i'm going to buy derrick a drink because he's leaving tomorrow. i'm glad i got to meet him this semester, he's a pretty decent fellow. with a drinking horn. i forget when steve leaves, but rick is floating around until june (!) so i don't have to be the last one out for once.
i actually kind of want to just go home now. i'm not looking forward to the prospect of travelling because it's so goddamn long. i'll probably not sleep the night before just to ensure that i'll sleep on the flight over and it'll go faster. then i got sit around chicago for awhile. then i gotta fly to syracuse. then i gotta drive two hours to get back home. and then it's back to colgate that friday to drink copiously and then back again about a week later to start working. looks like it'll be a good summer, if not an eventful one.
