so i think i'm going to stay here an extra week. i've got all these ideas now (figures) that i'd like to at least start. hopefully i can extend my lease for a few more days, though moving up to curtis is a shitty prospect so i might just squat in my studio a la an abstract expressionist circa 1945. except i actually have running water.

i've also decided not to grace seattle with my glorious presence, though i'd love to go. it's too soon, and the dates are wiggy for me, and too fucking expensive for a few days of visit, which of course makes me kind of wish renee could get her shit together enough to tell me about plans maybe a month before they happen. which of course means she's just like me. to make up for this, i've decided that we will be going to japan post-graduation no matter what now.

on that topic, my mother mailed me a cute little flier from colgate career services with a mildly nagging note about finding a job. she starts early, wow. reason would dictate i'd try to find something through them, but i kind of want to just save enough cash for a deposit and just go somewhere, certainty be damned. that, of course, depends on how much money i owe, i suppose.
