So, there's this girl (as every good guy story starts.)

Been crushing on her since 6th grade, she's my best friend, got into the industrial scene because of her, started clubbing because of her, put a lot of time and effor into her, I even make her art. And, as most of you probably can sense by now, she doesn't dig me in that way.

This was a hard thing to deal with and I've been trying to figure out how I can emotionally move her into the "friend" category. I thought, maybe I need to have an argument with her, or just let her alone for a long while, or something. But none of those things were very appealing.

So, I had a few minutes alone with the guy she IS chasing after, whom, up until tonight, I can considered a waste of flesh. I found out that he likes her as much as she likes him, which, is quite substantial. He was wussing out about asking her, he really wanted to but feared rejection. I saw this as an opertunity to do something friends do for each other, I have him a big nudge.

I'll probably kick myself in the morning, but, this is a step towards letting go of the idea of her as someone to date, and setting foot on the path of friendship.
