Been pretty tired recently - not sure how much of that is ramping back up into activities vs normal post-surgery (x2!) fatigue vs some hormonal or nutrient imbalances from surgery/ongoing health stuff, or likely some combination of all of the above.

but, despite the fatigue, things have been mostly good! I’ve gotten some quality time in with friends recently, have been spending time outside hiking...

Sorry for your loss and all the other hard stuff thrown your way. You can get through it 🖤

Test is such a wonderful tattoo and i am so glad you are getting outside more. I hope the fatigue ebbs soon and you are feeling that good energy again

Hey finally some good news for me, after months of back to back shit storms! I'm allowed to ease back into exercise and running and hiking! I am an out of shape, spaghetti noodle arm baby at cardio and strength training right now BUT I'M DOING IT!

Also - my poetry collection that's coming out in the fall ✨ officially has a cover ✨ I...

Glad to read that you're able to get back to doing the things you enjoy so much!  And I look forward to seeing the cover of your poetry collection.

This is so awesome to hear!!! Glad you are able to get back into things. Thank you for picking up other peoples trash along your hike. If only everyone understood to leave it better than how you found it. Looking forward to the poetry ❤️

Next surgery - June 30th 😅 this'll be much less invasive and mostly easier healing (my septum is deviated so badly my right nostril is almost fully blocked, but we were worried sinuses would have problems too and they're thankfully fine!). So taking advantage of already hitting my deductible for the year and getting it fixed. Still under a bunch of restrictiona for the hysterectomy...

Cute kitties. Sorry to hear about your friend Owen. It's always good to have copious amounts of pet love, and also to experience the joy of knowing a good person. Glad you have and have had both. Hope the best for your surgeries and wish the best of health to you.

This poem was previously published in Throats to the Sky Magazine several years ago. The publisher for my upcoming poetry collection that'll be out in the fall only accepted manuscript submissions that didn't include previously published work so, this one's not in the collection - though I do think it would otherwise fit :)

@radiofrank tbh I’ve been writing poetry for as long as I can remember! Not really sure how I started. Think I was just lucky with early exposure 🙂

Wow!

Made a dress for my birthday yesterday :)

One of my best friends is a really talented musician and had a show last night which was a great way to celebrate. Such good energy.

Got a nice lil new tattoo filler of Desert Paintbrush, one of my favorite local native flowers, and a new pet spider (name tbd) today. All around, a very good birthday!

Happy belated birthday 🎂

This week was my first full week back at work after surgery. Went better than I expected, but I’m def not back to 100% back to full capacity yet (not surprising, given that I had organs removed lol). Overall recovery has def been going well at least. I still have activity restrictions but overall I’m pretty mobile in terms of walking around and driving at...

Great to hear you're speeding along the road to full recovery! Continued blessings. Happy belated birthday, fellow Taurus! Keep shining brightly.

Surgery took a bit longer than expected due to adhesions but overall no major complications or issues. Tired and sore, but overall feeling better then I expected to. Will prob be pretty quiet over here for a bit as I recover, but looking forward to healing and getting back to things. Have 6-8+ weeks to full recovery so lots of books and sedentary activities for...

I hope your recovery is going well!!

The mural project was AMAZING but I’m also def feeling a bit run down after all the work for it. No time to rest though - I have a booth at an Art Festival this weekend. My first art fest! I’m excited and nervous. I know sales etc can be really hit or miss and since it’s my first time there as an artist I’m...
