@glass42 @amberetta the outlet was giving uneven surges and it was super loose. So I think as it kept getting unplugged while using it, the surges were uneven. Some weird explanation, but there was a note that the outlet was supposed to checked out weeks ago and no one has checked it 🙄. I’m not sure why they haven’t been on top of it because there weren’t any other station there for me to work at then. I want to buy a surge protector to now carry to work, which is annoying but also makes me feel safe.

Surge suppressors are rated by joules.  The higher the joules rating, the bigger the surge you are protected from.  https://electronics.howstuffworks.com/gadgets/home/surge-protector7.htm

Does the outlet feel loose when you plug things into it?  Is there any sign of scorching or blackening around the plug holes?  It seems odd to have two go in such a short time period.
nanette:
The first out of the two was already 2 years old. But the last one is the newest, maybe a year. The outlet is loose, I feel everything disconnects easily, I didn’t notice scorching or blackening.

@amberetta  Your use gives me a really helpful idea!  Right now, I am at my parent's place because it is the opening weekend of deer season.  My Dad is 80 and he really likes to go deer hunting.  So, "Midwest family bonding" I'm here to go "Kill stuff with Dad".  He got his deer this morning and I dressed it out for him.  His shot got the lungs but also the stomach.  I am going to smell that smell all day.  I just may have to make a Vick's run.

@glass42 Oh yummy!! Lol it'll help. It's a trusty nursing hack for bad smells.

It’s hard for me going to bed late then waking up within 5-6 hours.

I was only able to have a cup of coffee today. Forgot my hard boiled eggs.

No breaks, no snacks.

Left work early, “there is hope.”

Traffic made me get home later.

My 4pm client was on time, but I love her so and what is a 45 min appointment...

@amberetta  I was always the warm one.  As a result, I often found myself backed into by the "icy butt of doom".  If I was first in bed, I would usually lay on my wife's side until she came to bed so that it was warmed up for her.
