it's been a while. lots of things have happened, most i'll probably forget to mention. moved back to columbia for school in late july. sat around doing nothing for a week at my apartment before starting my crappy part time job at the university bookstore. thank god it was temporary. also got my job back at the geography lab entering data. much better job. i just sit around and enter stuff into the computer. almost done with mapping the geography of missouri as it looked circa early 1800's. then we move on to flood mapping. yay. the plus side is it's make your own hours and i can listen to my headphones. the other people i work with are pretty nice over all too.
arts and entertainment wise, been to a bunch of varrious concerts. devendra banhart is coming to town in a couple months, so i'm excited about that. been listening to a lot of jandek and industrial stuff. started reading jitterbug perfume this summer and just couldn't get into it. got a cheap 4 track recorder. been recording mostly experimental noise type stuff, but have a few other things started. there's only so much you can do with a bass, a guitat and a mic, so i'm a little limited.
started school last week. classes seem pretty interesting. couple anthro classes, political geography and criminology.
finally got to see kris again. just strange really. she seemed very disinterested in me and i felt like she disagreed with everything i expressed. feeling very doubtful about any kind of further intimate relationship between us. still, i'll give it some more time.
trying to get all my europe pictues onto the net. don't know shit about computers though. urgh.
