urgh. just updated my profile pic. had to fool around with it in paint to get keep from getting too stretech and skewed and just plain make it look cooler. is still a pretty pixely. we shall see how this little experiment goes. can always change it again. totally.
almost had a nervous breakdown yesterday. the thought of being stuck over here in the netherlands for another 2 months is starting to wear on me. just not looking forward to the needling boredom of worthless, unchallenging shit classes that are a total waste of time and not having enough money to travel much more. maastricht is a nice town, but considering my limited social network here and the dwindling monitary funds, well, i might go crazyerer. started painting a bit more. have a few good books to read still. might totally skip a week of class next month and try to hit latvia and budapest.
so i was looking at this one underground video site, trying to find this indonesian exploitation flick called 'mystics in bali' on NTSC format. found it. yay! then i started looking around their site even more. was weirded out by the fact that they sold tapes of 70's rape porn loops. there was also some really racist/hateful language coupled with an anti bin laden 'proud to be an american' shirt. really don't think i want to order from a site that refuses to sell anything to "COCK-SUCKING, LOW-LIFE GYPSY ASSHOLES FROM SHIT-INFESTED, SCUM-EATING INDONESIA OR YUGOSLAVIA ". even if they have been ripped off by people from these countries, it seems like a decent person wouldn't use such language.
have no idea of plans for tonight. might try renting a video. who knows. i've still got some beer either way.

my sister is taking her last semester in South Korea. she's enjoying it so far, except for the fact that she couldn't pack enough books.
