boy howdy all right now!!! halloween is fast approaching and i am pretty damn excited, it being my favorite holiday don'cha know. i get to see the original texas chainsaw massacre on the big screen AND wear my ed gein costume. devendra banhart show tomorrow and i've got FREE tickets. my friends are playing a concert sunday and on the most holy and graven night of samhain i'm going to rocky horror AND maybe a black flag tribute concert. (smile) one problem: i still don't have a party planned for me to wear my pro choice abortion costume.
got to see the SG bourlesque show in lawrence last night. pretty hot believe it or not (i'll asume you do believe me). the resivoir dogs bit with Fanny and Nixon??? (sorry if i'm thinking of someone else, we were pretty far from the stage). Chloe's portishead number was pretty nice too. really, there were some many, it's hard to keep track, but everyone did a great job, no shit. having done a couple drag shows, i can only imagine how worn out they must have been by the end.
i have two dates tomorrow and i am scared/confused and let's just add pissed off for no reason. a week after one girl asks me out, my semi sort of x starts to show renewed interest in me. where as some guys would feel like awsome pimp daddies (is that how the kids are saying it these days?), i'm just feeling really confused, stressed and torn. i have a feeling this is going to end up a lose-lose situation for me. i just really hope that i don't end up hurting either one of them.
once, when i was a tiny kiddy pie, i asked my dad if who the "king of the road" was. he said it was him and i believed him until i was old enough to know better.
