Sadness and Woe, But Then It Got Better: Longest Heading Evar
Putting my cat to sleep was not easy. I mean, of course it was emotionally difficult - when I say difficult, the cat had to be sedated *twice* and even then yowled and hissed until she could no more. Just terrible. The friend I brought along with me is going through some stuff of her own right now (that, or she's just really stone cold - I've yet to decide), so she wasn't much comfort.
To get my mind off of things I went and hung out at work that night for a staff show/working on Transformers costumes. Two of my friends got into an argument and the guy friend cried (the lobby was thick with teen drama
), so I missed the beginning of the film. Then another co-worker came from some after-grad thing absolutely *wasted* Extremely entertaining, I must say.
Our Optimus Prime box costume is really coming along. His helmet took approximately six hours, if you include all of the goofing around. Serious work. I'm paper mach-ing the helmet tomorrow, and we'll do the body on Wednesday/Thursday and paint on Friday before we open. Transformers opens on Tuesday in The City, but our little theatre won't get it until Friday.
