I'm in love with my new foster cat, Nermal. I might just end up keeping this one, she's awesomely awesome. She's one of the strangest kitties I've ever seen though, and there's about an hour each night where she goes completely bonkers - running up the walls and such. Nermal has a bit of food-aggression, which I've never actually seen in a cat before; she won't let R-Dog near her bowl, and she stands *over* both of her food dishes while she eats.
See? I guess maybe it's from living with 57 other cats and needing to be aggressive just to get something to eat.
This is what I got for my birthday. I actually took it out of the box and used it today. Wellll, maybe practiced and growled with it would be a better description, lol. I made two bean bags to heat in the microwave
I've picked up some fabric to make Synema one too, but I'll wait to stitch hers until I'm a little bit better at it. Speaking of dear Synema, her account has run out, and she'll be crazy crazy missed around here, especially by me. Thank goodness for FaceBook.
In the past couple of days, I've also re-covered three of my four dining room chairs. Purdy, hey?
For no reason at all, I went to the cemetary next to my house yesterday. It was nice out, and I meant just to walk around for a bit, and just sort of found myself there. In my "house clothes," no make-up on, but happy to be there. I love cemeteries - not in a morbid way, I just think they're pretty, and love seems to hang in the air around places like that. Here's a pic.
Life would appear to be getting back to what I call normal.... I'm back on a schedule at work and with sleep and stuff. With my mom here I found myself staying up late, eating junkfood and shopping a lot. Real sleep and real food is definately helping my mood improve.

That pic of the cat looks like Garfield taking some of his trademark narcoleptic cat-naps
CHOCO-milk addiction has been licked. I think I have finally defeated the dark-side
