Come and Play.... Everything's A-Okay

I heard on the radio this morning that Sesame Street is celebrating its 37th birthday. Wow. I loved the show as a kid - wait, I still love the show (it starts in 40 minutes, so I have to cut this kinda short). I actually honestly truly have "Who Are the People in Your Neighbourhood?" and "Pinball Number Count" on my mp3 player.

I think I liked Mr. Snuffalupagus better when he was "imaginary" and only Big Bird could see him. I wanted Barkley to be my very own dog. I cried when Big Bird drew that picture for Mr. Hooper and didn't understand that he was dead; didn't he want to mail it to him in Heaven? It's the same picture that still hangs by his nest to this day, btw. I always liked to see Oscar's softer side when he was reading to Slimey. I'm still not big on Elmo...

So who was your favourite Sesame Street character? I've been told I sound like Prairie Dawn on the telephone - I don't know if that's a good thing or not. Have a great weekend everyone!!!!
