Party
I went to the funest party I have been to in ages last night. I was actually one of the very first people to arrive, and I got that familiar zombie walk omg-am-i-going-to-be-the-only-one-here vibe - but people began pouring in like crazy after about 15 minutes. I met some awesome people and was so busy socializing, I forgot to take pictures! Lame! I forgot my digital cam for the zombie walk too.
The costumes were fantastic!!! Our hosts were dressed as a Witch Doctor, a mad scientist with a creepy hand in his pocket, and Frankenstein (who's gf was Bride of Frankenstein - and their costumes were very elaborate). Coming into the party were of course Little Red (that's me
), Luke Skywalker, several sexy police officers (one in fishnets :drools
), a zombie girl, Brock Sampson
, 80's joggers, the Listerine Guy, a "coked up production assistant," drag queens (one in fishnets, but not quite as drool-worthy, lol), a belly dancer, Mr. Clean, a knight in full armour, a couple Scotsmen, plus your standard faeries and the i'm-too-cool-to-dress-up-crowd. By the end of the evening it was so packed I could not tell you how many guests had arrived.
The music was good, the conversation great... I had such a good time
Peeing in the haunted bathroom was also a fantastic treat. I even got to witness some drunk-puppy-love-in-action, which was so cute. There was a boobie-measure-off, but I opted not to partake... not drinking, my inhibitions were still in check. I did however suggest our host bring up my rejected SG set (blushing and slightly regretting my decision when I saw there was a crowd developing
- but all was well in the end). A very fun time.
Gris Grimly
I am so in love with this artist. A library book was brought home entitled "Borris and Bella" illustrated by Mr. Grimly, and the art was kick ass. A certain someone suggested we get the characters tattooed on our arms - matching like - but "Bella" was a green-haired slime monster, and I didn't find that so romantic

I would, however, totally consider the "Zombies Sharing" print as a future matching tattoo

... or something like that.

I love SW.. After I get the framed picture I'm not going to be splurging on it as much, seeing as I am trying to save and get a Stormtrooper outfit.. So hopefully sooner then later, I will be submitting for the 501'st.. Keeping my fingers crossed..
I had these 2 old SW shirts, with Yoda and Boba's faces on them, I had gotten them during the time when Lucas re-released the new altered versions into the theater's and I wish I knew what happened to them..
