More school ranting:
Okay. So I'm mostly done. I have horrible dark circles under my eyes; kinda makes me look like a bad Halloween zombie. I only have one more project, for my web design class, and that's due uploaded tonight. It's about 1/3 done... sigh. SO tired.
The worst part about all this nonsense is that, sure... it'll be over as of tomorrow, and I'll technically be free of the semester... but I start another fucking semester on Monday.
This one is just three weeks, before the actual summer semester, which I'm ALSO doing. It's just English 1302, Mon.-Thurs. from about 1pm-5pm, for three weeks. But it's all research papers... four in three weeks, plus a final. Please excuse me while I go cry.
As far as finals go... if you didn't see the crappy Flash one that took me two days straight, it's in the last entry. My Illustrator portfolio was described as funny and clever, which couldn't be better for me. My English final today went well... or at least I think it did, because I was overjoyed by the A- on my research paper from last week, which FreakPirate titled for me on the boards. The only comment, in place of the usual list of things to correct, was "You are such a talented writer!" So I could have failed my final, and wouldn't have cared.
There's all that.
I posted a recording of my voice in the thread on the boards. I'm on page 5, right after CaseLogic. Who then overdubbed mine, which you should also listen to.
I forgot to mention that I'll also be sad to not see Lennon at the SGB show. Turns out, though, that Rasputina will be playing in Austin two days after I'll already be in town for SGB. Coincidence?

Poor you. I totally know how it feels to be in that school work crisis moment. I JUST finished my exams and was so relieved. Just think of it this way...once you start your next semester, you only have to worry about THAT and not the stuff you still havent finished or read from September! I got to exam time and realized all 892 pages of Don Quixote was calling me (as well as a couple other encyclopedia sized novels). no fun. Thanks for the warm welcome.
