Not for long, just a day next month. It took forever to convince my parents that I wouldn't die on the way out there (so I'd better not), but I'm actually going! YES!
I'll drive out there sometime October 27th, whatever's best for Habibi, meet him there, hopefully fall in love with the city, and then go to the Rasputina concert! I bought tickets, life is good.
Then I'll be coming back the next day.
I love my mom's sense of reasoning, sometimes... she thought about this for a few days, then said that she would agree, if I'd fly out to Philladelphia with her the week before her birthday to see Eddie Izzard. Damn, what an inconvenience! *snickers*
