This is really cool. I have my computer set up to speed up and slow down the CPU according to my activity in order to balance speed with energy efficiency. The side effect is that every so often, all of the emoticons start freaking out and going really fast!

This weekend, the girlfriend said she loved me. She prefaced it with, "I don't know if this is allowed, but..." I didn't verbally reciprocate, but I told her about the butterflies I had, and I didn't run away. Is that enough? I'm not sure what it is I feel for her or how serious I'm willing for things to get.

I'm past due for an update...

The most amazing thing I've seen recently was a flock of maybe 150 pelicans flying over the estuary where the Russian River meets the Pacific Ocean in Jenner, California.

Work's getting weird. Crossing my fingers that my personal plans start coming to fruit soon... More on that later.

Update schmupdate!

Prom last night. Fun fun fun. Took my date to Blowfish Sushi beforehand and had some great food. Yummy seared scallops and melt-in-your-mouth albacore. We had lychee sidecar cocktails that were awesome! I have to figure out how to make them. Japanese whiskey, orange liqueur, lychee, and lemon juice; sugared rim, wedge of lemon. Just awesome.
