It's over.
My dad passed away this afternoon. Although there were some mildly grotesque moments, I think it went perfectly otherwise. My mom, my brother, and I were right by his side. He was in no pain.
It helped a lot talking with my therapist the other day. Well, it should; that's what you pay them for, right? Anyway, the biggest thing was that she reminded me that I've already been grieving the loss of him for the past couple of years since he had a chronic illness, so a lot of my hard work was already done.

In response to your question in my journal, I actually attended the Florida College of Natural Health, although I hear that NHI is a reasonably good school. I'm right down the street from them too, and was thinking about looking into their faculty requirements.
