It's funny that so many people voted for Bush because they hate gays when Bush has been fucking them up the ass for four years.

You're living with a massage therapist? You've lost your right to bitch about just about anything.

Thanks for starting the back in black thread. The doom and gloom in the air is sapping the life out of everyone around here.
stockula:
You've got examples of the pervasive inroads Christians have made upon your rights during Bush's presidency?
Or are you perhaps consumed by an unfounded fear?

I would worry less about people that wont let you pass laws letting men marry each other, and more about religious fundamentalists who kill you if you criticize them.

Why I'm Voting For John Kerry
by Keith Daniels

Until the middle of this year, I was a registered independent. I have never voted in any party's primary elections, and although I would identify myself as a liberal because of my opinions on social issues and the environment, I would like to...

It seems to me that your sarcasm about "a uniter, not a divider" is pretty divisive itself.

One thing we can agree on, however... I can't wait for this election to be over either.

I don't have time to dissect these reports for the CE boards but there is some great info over here: http://www.pipa.org

There are a couple of amazing reports that bring to light some amazing statistics.

The first is The Separate Realities of Bush and Kerry Supporters which delves into commonly held beliefs between the two groups and how they differ. This was just released on 10/21.

The other is one that was mentioned in the documentary "Outfoxed". It is Misperceptions, The Media and The Iraq War. This report documents the power that media has on popular opinion. This is especially true of viewers of Fox News. Their beliefs regarding Iraq/WMD and Iraq/Al Queda are completely out of line with the rest of the nation.

They have a ton of other studies that I haven't even had a chance to look at yet. I don't know if you know of this group but I thought I would give you the heads up anyways.

Q: How is Iraq different from Vietnam?

A: Bush had a plan for getting out of Vietnam.

New icon.

It really represents to me my feeling that what we are fighting against in the form of George W. Bush is the systematic degradation of every ideal this country was founded on.

Feel free to use it also if you'd like.

rottenart:
solidarity, brother.

Can we please vote to allow anyone who votes for Bush to establish their own theocratic dictatorship, which they obviously so desperately desire, in say, Mexico?

But we get to take the army away from them, so they won't bother us while we're busy having peace and liberty up here.

So Rebecca thinks she's about to get fired.

We're going to consider this an opportunity. An opportunity for her to finally see if she can make a living doing nothing but massage therapy, which she's been in school learning how to do for the last year. Sometimes you've just got to take a leap of faith. And I've got complete faith in her.

Exciting, but...

Just wanted to say that I post little, but pay attention to what goes on, on the boards. I have been on this site under different names since a month after it started. I think your posts are a breath of fresh air, and whether or not I agree or disagree with you in the future, thanks for sharing.
cthav:
Really? I didn't know that, that is really interesting. You know, for as much interest as I have in the Egyptians and the pyramidal structures, I have a huge gap of knoledge about those things. I need to study up.
