Well all you gorgeous lovely sexy people, this has been my next-to-last working day of the year (I work on the 29th), and I'll be off like the proverbial prom dress tomorrow to spend the holiday week with my in-laws - which means very limited SG time, if any. I'm getting withdrawal symptoms just thinking about it!

Rarely has my Christmas mood been as nonexistent...

Happy Festivus!!! If you visit NYC let me know when. I make monthly trips up north and, if at all possible, would love to meet up for a drink.

The only people in the entire country qualified to run it just happen to both be related to previous Presidents.

And that even such a thing is being considered due to "lack of credible contenders" definitely shows that our media conglomerates are not being as tightly regulated as North Korean broadcasts on Kim Jong-Ill's funeral.

Talk about the Grinch stealing Christmas... yesterday we had our office X-mas party, which was super nice, and today we get a visit from our capo di tutti capi, the big cheese, the boss of bosses, who drops heavy-handed hints that heads may roll at any time, maybe even before the holidays. Excellent timing, what a great motivator that guy is! All...

Wait, what?! Why?! Maybe you should so come backstabbing of your own. ;)

Okay, but you had to have at least one place in Africa on your bucket list (besides the now newly added South Africa), right?
kaicito:
@Arroia Sorry for that backstabbing bit. It was just a joke! I know you'd never stab anyone in the back, right? And no... Africa is just a big white spot on my map. My mom was more adventurous, she toured the Sahara and went to places like Burkina Faso. I know Africa is beautiful, but somehow Asia and South America are higher up on my bucket list.

Do yourselves a favor and drop by the new set from @NOLITA, Dame du Marais and give it (and her) some well-deserved love. I really hope this makes her pink at long last; she'd be a fantastic new SG. <3

Danke für den Tip, ich muss mich ohnehin noch durch die Sets der vergangenen 18 Stunden graben. :)

Somehow it doesn't yet feel very Christmas-y around here, so I felt the need to share a nice low-key version of my favorite seasonal song... here's my man Perry Como and the lovely Diahann Carroll...

Just in case anyone was wondering what in the world I was doing in China - it was merely to lend a touch of color and (one hopes) dignity to the graduation proceedings of some 60 Chinese MBA students (1st row, 4th from the left):

Hi there guys and gals! Just a quick note that I'm back from my first ever Beijing trip. I'll dump a few more pics laterz, but here's two of the few that have me in them.

But first, one fave pic of mine, an only slightly prettified view of the Temple of Heaven park:

Thanks @tali79 ! The food was mostly amazing, although the Chinese custom of cooking and serving meat with bones and all a was bit off-putting.
