Super stoked that I made good use of the Taschen sale last week and got this huge and heavy tome on the Tiki Pop craze at 50% off. Polynesia has always intrigued me, and this book is a South Seas fantasy come true. Now, just exxcuse me for a couple of weeks...
Just threw together a quick casserole thing today, made of pearl barley, tomatos, onions, cashews, and mozzarella cheese. As I'd never in my life eaten pearl barley before, it was a first - and it didn't turn out badly at all, if I do say so myself.
