Not much time---I'm being very NAUUUGHTY.
I'm not supposed to be using computers for another 12 hours or so.
I returned from Vancover this afternoon. I had my pre-surgical testing on the 27th. They dtermined that PRK would be best to correct my rather high prescription. Had the surgery the 28th and slept most of the day except wen my friend, who kindly came with me to babysit and drive home, came to the hotel room with take out Chinese and Dairy Queen Blizzards!!! Wow, what a girl. I guess that makes up for her beong able to go out on the town and play for awhile once I was snuggly tucked into bed. The post op evaluation said everything is as it should be, and that it will be a few days at the least for the blurryness to go down. Right now I feel as if I am looking through a foggy pair of contact lenses that I have been wearing for wayyyy too long. The beautiful thing is that I AM NOT!!! No glasses or contacts--
--sde note, I guess I am waring contacts of a sort. Since PRK surgery essentially buffs away the top layer of cells on the eye before the laser reshapes it, they place a nil prescription soft lense over the eye as a 'bandage'. On 3 June I have to go back up to have the contact removed and see how the process is going.
BTW, see my post on the hook-up board. I am trying to find someone to accompany me on a quicki road trip to VAB from PDX for that appointment as I'm not sure hoe much extended driving I'll be able to do by then.
Anyway, away damn computer and let these poor scorchrd and reformed eyes heal---sleeep, sleeep, SLEEEP!
