Do you ladies get a lot of messages? Since I've been a member I haven't received any messages. I've only sent just one or two. I'm sure you're all harassed by us men. So I don't bother you. What kinds of messages do you get? Mostly respectful messages or nasty messages?

I very rarely get anything nasty.   If I have it's always from someone very new to the site. The members on sg are primarily nice people....not creeps.    Mostly I get messages from people I've made friends with here through blogs or groups.

Waiting for an open slot/HOPEFULS

There are hopefuls and then there are those that came late into the game and are just waiting for an open slot. Seen a lot of the latter. I hope the slot opens up for you soon. Until than, remain confident.

I would think it's relative to the individual and your stage in life. My example is I dated someone 8 years older than me starrug at age 16. We dated about 6 years and in the beginning it was fine but as I got older, I saw that he was controlling me and wanting to be a parent vs a partner. My husband of 3 years is only 2 years a part and it's perfectly fine because we share many similar likes and grew up with the same things. As most everything in life, it comes down to the individual situations.

First Date

Ladies what is an ideal first date for you? Please be specific. Like Coffee in the afternoon. Or a French dinner and an action movie. Do you want someone to go all out and spend lots of money (like most magazines say to do), or something simple? Either I'm doing something wrong or I really am that freaky and that ugly looking.

You shouldn't spend a lot of money.  You should make sure to do something where it's easy to have a conversation.    Take her to do something she really likes or that you really like, so you can share it.    Maybe  Don't bring her flowers...take her to the botanical gardens.   Or the aquarium...or an art show or a museum.    Going somewhere like that gives you something to talk about....to help move conversation forward if it gets stalled.    

Boredom on the weekends

I have to find someone else to ''obsess'' over. All the girls I keep obsessing over keep leaving SG :( Is there anyone that isn't planning on leaving SG within the next year or two and wouldn't mind if I stalked their page near daily? I'm joking cheez people don't get all serious on me. However my favorites keep leaving me!

Work/Money

I have been working seven days a week since January 1st. That's every single day since the 1st. It's starting to wear on me but every time I see a check, it makes it all worth it. No matter what I do, I'm never more than 4 days without a paycheck. I do love my jobs. =D

I think it is killing me! Just slowly and painfully. But I am thinking of getting a part time job for the weekends as I only work 18 hours for Friday-Sunday.
