So, a lot of things have happened very recently...
This morning at work, I literally used up my adrenaline supplies (internal, not injected or whatever) for the four deliveries that I did. I did the first three in about an hour and a half from start to finish. They were perfect. The last was a little stressful cause our morning dispatcher is a total dunce. I finished the third run and I was literally shaking with adrenaline...
The fourth was a $700 (They gave me a $10 tip?) run that I did with another guy, it was a blast, so much fun doing big orders. Seriously.
So, I get back to the office and almost pass out. I'm sleepy-eyed the whole rest of the night. I miss exits and turns, but I get there, it was alright, but not of the caliber that I expect from myself.
Oh well, I made ~$150 in ten hours today.
On my break between morning and dinner, I went to this sushi restaurant called Sushi Time over on Hall. The guy was awesome to talk to--I was his only customer, so we got to talking and more talking, and I "sort of" started talking Japanese with him. He was a little disappointed to hear that I was going back to college in LA so shortly. He said that because I knew a little about the culture and the language, he'd train me as a sushi chef. I was completely floored by the offer. So, when I come back from UCLA, I think I'll be training in the art of sushi.
How cool is that? Totemo sugoi da ne.
