It's been a while. I just haven't had the motivation to post here--mostly because it's really silly now.

Anyway.

I'm moving out of my place in SE Portland and I'm moving back to my mom's for now until I'm able to either 1) buy a house or 2) find some kick ass place to rent for the mean time. It sucks, but I think it...

I guess I'll update my "blog" now.

I'm extremely disappointed with the new website redesign. I still really haven't found anything that's terribly evident as to why they changed it. Sure it looks spiffied, but does that actually make the site better? I think the color scheme is quite garish; the heavy reliance on flash and graphics for common headings and features really slows down...

I agree, in far fewer words....I'm just not that verbose.

This city really is amazing. I'm going to bring a picnic chair next time and watch the sun set.

I just went to Geico.com and punched in my information. I would be paying twice the amount I'm paying now. 15% or more my ass! Oh well.

Geico keeps sending me letters saying they could save me 300$ a year on insurance.

I pay 240 a year.

One of these times I'm going to call them, and be a real dick about it.
sen:
I switched to Geico and saved 50% on my bank account.

Yea it doubled my insurance bills too.

I took another trip down to the Bay Area the weekend after I went to visit the girl I'm seeing down in San Jose. I was down there for tutor training. It was pretty intense. It was a kind of intensity and stress that one doesn't realize until it's over. I was on the verge of breakdown/tears/panic all Sunday afternoon. It rained, the plane was...

It seems like it's been like that for most people lately. I'm sure it'll pass in time...

Well then.

I started my new job; it's the same as the old one, just different signature on my paycheck, it's rather convenient like that.

I went down to San Jose for the weekend. There were cheap flights for Mother's day weekend, so I obviously spent the money for a round-trip flight to visit a girlfriend. Hot. The Bay Area is not so bad. It's...

You missed a pretty good play party mothers day weekend. I brought the girl with me and she really liked it. She was just mad at me because I didn't bring any toys.

So what kind of deal can you get me on a TDI, I'm thinking of trading for something a little more modern. frown

Rediscovering portland, lol, sounds like a good plan. I was planning on doing the same thing!

It's been a while since I've updated. I hardly feel like I have anything to post, either on here or on LJ. Whatever.

I'm going to England tomorrow. That should be fun. I'll be there for 10 days with my Dad. We'll probably see my myriad aunts and uncles and my grandmother. I know we talked about wandering around Cambridge and Oxford, so that would...

What the fuck is happening?

Here is my carefully laid out plan for setting aside money for retirement and all that, and then I go and book flights to San Fransisco for a booty call next month. Jeez.

Well, whatever, I'm happy. I really am. There are things that I don't like particularly right now, but they're all getting sorted out.

I still feel quite...

I feel like I'm always playing catch up with this journal. Do I even use it anymore?

Things are getting on track. Kinkfest is over, so that means all the things I said I was going to put off until then are now due and I've gotta get them organized.

I figured out I can contribute to a Roth IRA for 2005 this year, I...

Should be good... I've been trapped in Arizona far too long, and am dying to get connected to a normal (okay, normal-ish) civilization...

I was playing scrabble today, and my opponent told me: "I hope you wake up with cancer of the spine"

Who the hell says that!? Oh well.

Okay, change of plans. I looked over my calculus book last night and I don't think that I'm ready. So instead of trying to overload myself this quarter, I've dropped the class. I'll take a stab at it when I don't have so much on my plate.

PS. You don't happen to know when this gift account ends, do you? smile
venice:
I know. It's kind of troublesome. I keep telling myself it's just a wave and it will pass, but I still don't like the looks of it.

Hmm--what's going on here?

I went to Myla's Luau-thingy last night. That was some fun, with tasty food too! Thanks Myla and all. I went to the beach earlier that day and hung out with VW people. I met some new people there that were quite nice and friendly.

There also was this girl there that was wearing one of those shirt/dress thingies over jeans....
