OMFG

okay so im going to start this blog with the events of the past 17 hours.

i got myself an xmas prezzy

ouch.

yes thats all i have to say about that. ouch indeed.
i actually got a tear in my eye when i was getting it done haha. thats almost unheard of!

so.. yeah
last night
i get home around 930 pm
i watch some tv with my bro, mildly uncomfortable (hips are irritating me)

come 1130 pm, i head to bed..err... chat/online and realize my hips and legs are aching so bad, im having a hard time thinking clearly..
i was pretty sure we didnt have any pain meds so i was trying to just deal with it. i couldnt
it is now 130am when i get up, and go rummage through all our cabinets lookig for something-anything that would help. i find some excedrin extra stregth. i take 3.
fast forward another hour. is is now nearing 3am when it finally kicks in. i try to sleep.
i realize.. shit.. now im not tired. wtf

crap. excedrin has caffeine doesnt it?
why yes.... it does

so... yeah.
the last time i looked at a clock it was 4am, and i still wasnt tired.

i got up at 630 this morning, for my 800am final.

yeaaahhh lack of sleep.

its going to be a long day.
i was just looking for the power cable for my laptop... in my coat pocket, only then to realize i was actually looking for a pencil, which i had found and then put back in the pocket to look for the laptop cord....

i have a ceramics get together later today at noon.
i need to finish up my sketchbook for it, go in to town and get some small paper plates and plastic forks for the potluck/term art show.

i made a peppermint cheesecake.
i am pretty disappointed with it.

my brother says it looks yummy...

do not garnish a cheesecake with peppermint hard candies. they melt.

i had stuck a circle of them around the top outer rim of the cake... and crushed some to dust over the top. it looked rather cute when i initially did it....

now it looks like a pink mess, with small gooey peppermint discs around the outside...
i hope they dont mind too much... im sure it still tastes good... just, doesnt look the way i envisioned, and so i am unhappy with it.

my ear hurts...
and my hips are starting to hurt again.

i am going to go attempt to sketch the things i made this term... in my sketchbook and label the glazes i used.
