Going around the apartment and gather evidence in case she decides to take us to court for breaking the lease.

This is one of my favorites...
The skylights that were torn out and boarded over.

No judge in their right mind would side with her...and this is just ONE of many things. I also have video evidence of the noise we deal...

It is total bullshit that the law in CT says a landlord only has to keep a place at 65 degrees.
You can get hypothermia in 65 degrees.

4 more days and we can start moving out.

That sucks man. But at least you'll start the new year in a better place right?
laceyk:
That is insane!

I know it's not New Year yet, but fuck it...I want to get a jump start on this shit.
2012 sucked so bad that I have never been THIS pumped for a new year.

So 2013...prepare to become my bitch.

Goals for 2013.

Business:
1. Add 10 new females to the collection, with at least 5 being breeding size, and 2 being something I am...

This is the first year I have no felt the urge to watch "A Christmas Story."

Not sure that will change before the end of the day.

When Christmas goes from hopes of toy cars and video games to gift cards so you can buy new underwear...THAT...is growing up. Haha.
wolfwood1203:
lol, nice. For me it' s socks. My grandparents always gave socks, I used to hate it, now I look forward to getting them.
prov_guy:
This year's swag included a mid-size Leg Lamp, a T-shirt of Ralph with his red Ryder and broken eye glasses (whole family had same T-shirt), a sculpture of Santa pushing Ralph down the slide at the store and more! A Christmas Story rocks!

So my weight loss will resume once we move again. Everything has been so fucking hectic lately.
The negative attitude of downstairs literally infests the apartment and puts me in a rotten mood...almost daily.

The new place has a weight bench and possibly punching bag in the basement, so...
workouts will resume.

I also plan on getting some blood work done. Weight loss is damn...

Keep up the hard work with your weight loss. One thing I would say, try your best to get out of the negative attitude, you will just get depressed and it will impact everything. With depression, just realize when you feel it hitting you, that it is what it is and it will pass. It takes a lot of work to drop off weight sometimes, but you can do it.

So my landlord rings the doorbell today and hands Christine a scrap of paper with a name and number on it, then says she no longer wants to be responsible for anything involving the apartment, so maintenance issues and rent are to go to her "husband."

Seeing as her name is the ONLY name on the lease, I am fairly sure she just verbally voided...

You should look into a constructive eviction. Some of the best advice I was ever given. Google it.

First time I have been sick in over a year.
Means I am extra miserable....

Ugh.

At least it's my day off. Only thing on the agenda is feeding and cleaning the snakes.
Then...I do NOTHING.

bringyouhell:
Being sick sucks, hope you get feeling better quickly!
nene:
Take immune boosters every few hours and it will lessen the duration. Also drink lots of green tea.

Cleaning the snake tank takes me quite a while especially when my baby girl is all WOOHOO about having the run of the apt. I have to keep an eye on her while I'm cleaning. She's tried to climb the Christmas tree, got her ass caught behind the tv stand and tried to jam her face through a small crack in the corner of the room.

I am writing this here to voice my opinion on the subject. I do not want to keep getting roped into posts where I get heated and it ends poorly.
I can't even begin to understand what the parents of the children at Sandy Brook school are feeling, and honestly there is nothing I could say or do that would make this better for them...

We have met the enemy, and he is us! What has become of us as a people that anyone in our society can do this type of thing? Where have we gone wrong (or is it even that we have gone wrong) as a society that anyone can think this is an acceptable act?

In recent years, people have used fertilizer, box cutters and airplanes, and other common elements to kill people. So guns, in and of themselves, are not the problem. Their availability may male these actions easier - but it's us, not the tools we use, that is at the heart of the matter.

I've heard this called blamed on us becoming a godless nation, but more murders (and MASS MURDERS) have been committed in the name of God, so I don't think that's it!

Sorry - no answers here, and no argument either. Now I'm going back to looking at pretty nekkid women!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
