It is always a good thing when you can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, sort of like what happened to me recently. And yes, there are still quite a few things to do to get there, but at least you know you will and know the rewards of the struggle.

so Tuesday was the nerve racking "Oh Shit!" experience...the professor coming to the school to see how I'm progressing.

the only area of "improvement" noted was confidence....taking the initiative and just "doing it". yeah, the stuff that comes with experience and knowing that your job (or position) is secure....when I know and feel that way, I'll be much more of an initiator...but not until then....

well, my assignments are slowly getting done. I've pretty much finished my autism presentation. except for the treatment plan for the case study.

now I have to do a brochure on adjustment disorders, and read a book/write a book review.

and all the stuff for my internship.

so what else is new? seems that if someone writes me a testimonial, they soon will go inactive.......

I can see why you need all that Mountain Dew. You sound just a tad bit busy at the moment.

But as for me, you probably need not worry too much. I haven't had much ability without meeting someone directly...for now at least. I have seen things, but have never conversed. Never met anyone who has. I mean, I think I'm crazy most of the time, but even I draw the line somewhere. I have seen things that have disturbed me, so as for your student, I think there is a good chance of it causing distress, if that's what is really even going on. But that's just me and I'm nobody.

It's funny you should say that about the tents. As you read there were tornado warnings this time, but the time before that my tent was blown over by an actual tornado. There we were standing in the rain, trying to keep it from blowing away and the big aluminum poles all bending in our hands. That was a couple of years ago and it took me this long to try it again, and almost had a repeat.

Oh, and I think I owe you a case of Mountain Dew or something...

Could be worse. I spent most of last night digging galvenized shards out of my left eye.
I shouldn't complain too much about it being slow on here. Its not like i can do much socially lately anyways. Atleast its not just me smile
