well, kind of tired, another long week. I think I worked about 19 hours over the past 2 days actually (instead of 18). maybe 18 1/2. i don't friggin' know anymore.
so what else is new with me? well, this Tuesday is when my professor comes to visit and find out how I"m doing. I have yet to have a formal, sit-down "Okay, this is how you're doing" discussion. however, I have asked a few times, and I've been told I'm doing good. I'm just a perpetual pessimist, so I don't think too highly (that, and if you have low expectations, when something good happens, you feel that much better!)
actually had a good session with a kid this past week. we were exploring some when we hit onto something big. normally, though, I would have "filled in" the blanks after waiting. this time, though, a part in my head went "Hold on, wait, wait, let them do it" and let the student fill in the blanks. instead of me doing the work, I let them do the work. and I think we got somewhere...it felt good!
nothing much else to speak about....I might go see "Nightmare Before Christmas" on Wednesday....its playing in 3-D. you know, the entire "pamper yourself" thing.
and everyone, run over to albi's profile and welcome her back! yes, I'm trying to see if I can turn her beat red with praises and such! it should be fun!
well, time to see how my eBay bidding is going....its odd, you can buy Nightmare Before Christmas on-line for about $40 (same with eBay)....but I found a lot of 3 DVD's (one of which is Nightmare Before Christmas) going for $10 now. yes, Disney movies. oh well, I'll find some way to get rid of the other movies......
