seriously want to taint punch a manager where I work.
last night, show up to work my shift (an overnight shift), as scheduled. I tend to get there early, so I can relax and what not. bring things up....the full-time guy is there, too. WTF?
well, it seems that the manager who does the scheduling fucked up, and said he asked for the night off. records show...the full-time guy did NOT ask for the night off. and any hours on Sunday he works is time and a half. the full-time overnight said something, and things were switched around. except the message never got to me.
so I ended up showing up.....doing some BS dusting in the prepared foods area (you know, the area open when maintenance works, so it can't be dusted then) and going home. I drove out, and worked for maybe 1 1/2 hours.
all because of the fact that Barney in a Bowtie (the manager is on the heavier side....and loves wearing a purple dress shirt with a black bow tie he bought himself) couldn't tell me when he saw me Friday OR anyone else telling me at all that I do not have to work Friday.
fuckers!
so I got home around 1:30 AM or so (bars let out at 2 AM...not driving then!), ate some Shrimp Tempura Sushi Rolls and chilled in chat until 4:30 (or so...but with the jump ahead, really 3:30) until I went to sleep....and slept for about 10 hours. that's one way to celebrate, right?
