I'm up early and dressed for the gym but I'm having my doubts because I keep sneezing. I don't want to get SICKER. I want to be FUNNER.
I think all my cats are being fucking assholes this morning.
As of friday Esqui will no longer live here. It breaks my fuckin heart but I don't know what else to do. The other two will probably calm down a little bit after he's gone. I hope so. I don't want to get rid of my favorite fucking cat for nothing.

I love these Europa Editions. They're all so fucking pretty and the binding on them doesn't fall apart like so many of the other books i'm reading these days. Also, we get tons of these for free. They're like the Criterion Collection of European paperback books.
I Just finished reading Midnight Choir and it was a fucking awesome Irish crime novel in which not too much happens. It's written in such a way though that it sucks your ass in for the whole 300+ pages. I love this fucking book.
I don't know what's next, but I'm taking South of the Pumphouse to work with me today.
Last night I started reading a book, Falling Man, that I was super excited to get to. It's the new Don Delilo, it's post-9/11 fiction (which I'm kind of obsessed with) and it won't be released for another month or so. A few sentences in the girlfriend asks:
"What're you reading?"
I turn the cover and show her.
"Be careful with that, I want to sell it."
Well, that sucks. I can't read it because I can't be careful with it. My reading all takes place in my car, while smoking, on 15 minute breaks. My books fall apart because I press them against the steering wheel and carry them in book bags, along with markers, cds, my lunch, etc, etc. Oh well.
Right now, reading is my favorite thing in the world, though.
Tired.

Zit on my butt.

If you rule you read this
interview.

Sorry bout your cat, that sucks totally. But it makes me think....if I get rid of Meredith, will McKenzie settle down??? Hmmm this could be the best idea ever! Haha I kid.
