Greetings minions,

There is a German phrase, "Vornehm geht die Welt zugrunde," which could be translated as "posh the world perishes." It's what you might say when instead of the cheap sparkling wine, you buy the most expensive champagne for your little private celebration. Now @posh, she looks like she's always picking the most expensive champagne for her little private celebration of her Bond-villainesque plans...

Hello my groupies and roadies,

Look at that, we made it all the way to 2004. Hooray us!

A little while ago I talked about SGs who have been staying around for a long time, and @sid is certainly one of them. She's one of the more active of the old school SGs in the groups, always smart and outspoken, and she's also got a...

Omg! Thank you so much for the sweet post! I feel as though I don’t deserve it, but since it’s coming from you, I will accept the honor! ❤️ It’s really nice to see someone post good things about you, especially when things haven’t been so great. I’m being put through the wringer lately, and the universe and life had been exceedingly challenging as of late, even here on SG, things have been hard. There were a few points lately where I considered just hanging up my proverbial hat. The rumor mill has hit me right into my heart, and my illness had past me in the hospital 4 times already this year and I have that awful feeling in my back/spine where the discs are sliding into the spinal cord I’m kind of scared because when that happens, I can lose function in my legs. But really, truly thank you from the bottom of my heart for this post. I’ve been trying to get another set shot, but it seems, to me, like Colorado has a seemingly large lack of photographers, and when I travel, I’m usually working so shooting sets, sadly, doesn’t happen. Anyway, apologies for the messing up by hitting the enter button by accident! This is my real post now. 😝

Hello my geographically challenged ground hog farts,

The Lorelei is a steep rock on the shore of the middle Rhine valley. The area was prone to shipping accidents due to heavy currents, which eventually led a bunch of German poets to invent stories of a pretty woman sitting on the rock singing and combing her hair, thereby unwittingly distracting the shipmen and causing them to...

Hello my deliciously spicy sandworms,

A few years ago, I finally read Dune and I must confess I did not find it particularly memorable. I believe in freedom of religion, though, so if you have a shrine to Frank Herbert in your home, I'm not saying that you're wrong - just maybe a little odd.

Anyway... now @flux' legendary Dune set, of course, that's a...

Good evening, my fluffy little fleabags,

Have I promised you another presidentially named SG? I'm pretty sure I have, and now I shall deliver. My pick for October 2003 is @nixon's second set Cuddle.

Now she's acting all sweet and harmless here, but don't let that fool you. This woman, she has a dark side. You'll see.

I know, I know, she's irresistible, but

Hello there my sweet pickled hamster toes,

Well, would you look at the time. Two years of SG history done, only fourteen and a bit to go. So let's get right to it.

I don't know if @bathory named herself after the infamous serial killer, or the band named after the infamous serial killer. But I do know that if she bathed in the blood...

Hello, my adorable little rag dolls,

I like to think of myself as a reasonably eloquent troll person. But sometimes the set description says all there is to say, as is the case with my pick for August 2003, @voltaire's set Seventeen Inches:

Voltaire says:
My favorite pair of stockings, my favorite garter belt. I can do your typing on my 17" powerbook in...

Come all without, come all within, you ain't seen nothing like the mighty Quinne...

Come along, boys and girls and non-binary kiddos, come along! The mighty @quinne is sure to make you all jump for joy.

See, I do not know for certain what the record for the longest active SG is, but @quinne certainly must come close. Her first set hit the front page...

Evening perverts,

It is a well-known fact that some of the best SGs are named after some of the worst US presidents. What I didn't know until I trolled the archives just now is that two of them had their debut sets in the same month. If that isn't a liberal conspiracy, I don't know what is. Seriously, in the vein of yesterdays shocking revelations,...

Welcome back, my temporally displaced rhino farts,

"This is what makes time travel possible, the flux capacitor."

Now the secret is out. Without @flux, there could be no classic picks. She's quietly capacitating this whole thing, if you can believe it. And why shouldn't you, I mean, would I ever lie to you? I am at least as reliable as the Weekly World News,...

Hello my deliciously nerdy poop-bags,

A Fractal is defined as a figure whose Hausdorff dimension is larger than its topological dimension. In other words, it is infinitely fluffy at every length scale. Since I am a big nerd, of course I have a deep love for all that is @fractal, and her first set Fluffy is my pick for April 2003.

Now I have not

Good evening boys and girls,

How about a strawberry milkshake? I must confess that strawberries are not among my favourite fruit, but if @snow made you one, you'd just know it will be absolutely delicious. That's why her set Shake is my pick for March 2003.

Not convinced yet? Just look how yummy it is...

She's really selling it, doesn't she?

Well, run along now,
