Grrrrr....I'm soooo aggravated. My soon to be ex husband sent me a nasty e-mail today saying that he was pissed that I'm selling some of the stuff that I got in the divorce in a yard sale (not sentimental stuff, just decorations that I'm not taking with me when I move to Hawaii). He said he was also pissed that I gave the microwave stand to one of our friends (who badly needed it and didn't have the money to buy one).

A little background: we split up our stuff pretty decisively. His stuff is still sitting in my mom's basement, where it has been for the past seven months because he hasn't cared enough to come get any of it. Now he's all pissed?

I sent him an e-mail back, saying that the money from the yard sale was going towards my filing for bankrupcy, because I'm the one that got stuck with all OUR bills from when we were together (over $8000) and I can't pay them off because I already had $15000 in my own debt from student loans and medical bills. So....I told him that if he would take more responsiblility for OUR bills then I'd be more willing to give him whatever he wanted out of OUR stuff.

It's so aggravating. He's letting petty things turn us against each other, after us being best friends for over five years. He just always needs to find some way to control me, and he always needs to come out of the argument making me look like the asshole. Well, I'm no longer going to be the asshole. Because I know I'm a good person, and I know that I have a good chance to start over in a better place both physically and mentally, and I refuse to let him ruin that just so he can feel better about himself.
