The most frustrating things to deal with are people who think they "understand".

I'm sorry, if you're a civilian you do NOT understand my job as a soldier. Be it when I'm in training, deployed, doing AT or monthly drill. Hearing "Everyone has to work, just because you're going to be away for two weeks doesn't make it any different."

I forgot. My bad. Everyone leaves their HOME and isn't able to RETURN or go ANYWHERE except where they are sent. Everyone works 12-18+ hours every day too!

Then dating... I'm dating a stripper. Stupid enough decision for many reasons but she has proven time and time again to be more than worth it (no drugs, not a whore, amazing values and loyalty*) but I STILL get stuck working the VIP section of the club she dances on occasion. No, you CANNOT relate to watching the person you love taking her clothes off and parading around for scumbags and miscreants. You CANNOT relate to watching them paw at her and her have to put on that plastic smile to deal with it.

God I cannot wait until the fall. Freedom from this home situation, freedom from the people I know... and most importantly freedom for BOTH of us from this fucking shithole club!
