Quick one today JUST to keep on schedule...
Solid day off, woke up to our awesome gunships blazing at the early hours of the morning. Bunkmate dragged me to breakfast half-asleep but so worth it. After breakfast took a nap(was amazing to actually sleep for once) then got up ~11am. Did some room maintenance and nerdedout a bit on the laptop installing updates and messaging friends on FB.
Mid-afternoon bunkmate came back, harassed me into going to the gym and finding out my max lifts at which point I thoroughly embarrassed myself. Well in my eyes I did, he thought the numbers were fine but I pulled out a 145 bench, 135 incline bench, 225 squat for the first time hitting the freeweights since, well, a LONG time ago... Figured I was done, wrong!
2030 (830pm for those nonsoldiers) I was grabbed to go on a 3 mile run. Yay for running with still aching muscles... but it worked out. I kept pace with the head runner and completed all three miles without a single cramp. Pretty damn proud of that, it really brightened my mood.
Now tomorrow I work the dreaded 0730 Sat - 0800 Sunday... but since my favorite provider (who I have a little "hot for teacher" crush on) is leaving is this week and is giving her last class I'll be sticking it out until 1200... Then Monday at 0400 I'm going to get up on my day off and join the other team's PT test to regain my honor. I think I can pass it this time; Thursday was just a hell of a flub.
So no blog tomorrow; but I will update to include it on Sunday! if I don't die from exhaustion.
